Sports Massage Therapy is a discipline growing in popularity for its recovery benefits especially in sports. Sports massage therapy techniques can strategically be used to relieve tight muscles and improve performance and comfort. You may have seen Sports massage therapists in action at the start and end of running events, team sports or in a therapy room at your gym. More and more people are recognizing the benefits of sports massage in improving the way the body moves and functions including:
- Elite sports players
- Recreational sports participants and runners
- Non-sports participants with postural issues and tight muscles
Now it’s time we enlighten you on the undeniable benefits of sports massage with special emphasis on the Pleno Massager.
What’s the hype about the Pleno Massager?
The Pleno Massager is a deep tissue massaging tool used to help loosen muscles after intense training. The different speeds make the product very versatile for types of muscle knots. Lightweight and entirely portable, making it an essential travel tool for amateur or expert sports massage therapists. The handheld design makes it easier to hold when targeting those difficult to reach muscles. It is predominantly used when hand massaging can cause fatigue and can also be used as a hygienic alternative to skin on skin massage therapy. We think it’s safe to say any aspiring sports massage therapist needs to have this equipped in their inventory.
