Choose a study strategy

We have mentioned in previous blogs of ours the importance of time management, which you can click here to view. However, just as important is the work strategy you decide to practice. Cal Newport in his book Deep Work suggests blocking out larger chunks of time to carry out one task, in this case, studying for your Level 3 exams. Alternatively, you can adopt a more periodic study strategy, whereby you study for short blocks of time with smaller intermittent breaks. Regardless of the strategy that you choose, persevere and persist on maintaining that structure consistently throughout your course duration and you will see results. It is best to study in an environment anywhere other than your bedroom as procrastination manifest more easily when you are in your bedroom! When you are working, a library or study room is always best as it simulates a working environment far better. Leave your phone at home or switch it to do not disturb mode if possible.

Maintain 100% attendance

With 260 total completed learners and 94% achievement rate last year, it is safe to say that our students clearly have been given the key to successfully passing their level 3 personal training qualification. However, a common attribute which does occur with our students is that their attendance and punctuality. Be punctual and you will see all the content first hand plus an explanation from your tutor without missing any key points. Yes we do offer online material and support sessions for days that you miss due to extenuating circumstances, but, you will not be able to engage with your tutor as interactively as you would be able to in class. Maintain a high level of attendance throughout the duration of the course and you will pass in a timely fashion.

Ask Questions!

Your tutors are educated, experienced and knowledgeable. They possess a vast knowledge base on everything you need to know regarding your Level 3 course content and probably on all your other fitness interests too! Be sure to ask them any questions from both topics that you are unsure of and any areas you need or want development on. If you don’t ask you will never know and our tutors are always keen to help their students out. Be inquisitive and expand your knowledge so that you can pass effectively and become a leader in the fitness industry.
